History of Bottineau FloralBottineau Floral was founded by Mr. James Bieth and opened on April 1st 1957. He started the shop in a small rented space at the 500 block of Thompson Street and moved the business to the current location at 420 Main Street in 1972. Jim died suddenly on Valentines Day in the mid 80's at which point his wife Shirley (long time educator at MSU - Bottineau) continued to operate the business until her incapacitation in February 2007. The current owner, Russ Klebe bought and reopened the shop May First of 2007 and purchased the vacant lot North of the floral shop to add the "Hidden Garden" where he expanded product lines to include fountains, outdoor planters and unique iron and wroth iron gifts. As a college student Klebe worked for Mr. Bieth several summers and developed an appreciation for the floral industry an appreciation for Mr. and Mrs. Beiths commitment to quality service and actively supporting the community development and public service. |
